Background:

Situated in Milton village, north of Cambridge, the school is housed in two large and well-appointed buildings with 14 classrooms and several smaller rooms, including a library. Facilities include two halls, two playgrounds, large playing field and heated outdoor swimming pool. Set in attractive grounds, with shrub areas, trees, play apparatus and a quiet seated area. Every classroom has interactive whiteboard and two computers connected to the internet. 'We are a very well resourced school.' Extra-curricular clubs, and regular football and cricket matches against other schools. The school finds a part for every child in concerts. Older children regularly visit the old people's centre in Milton to talk, and to entertain with games and singing. Parent-teacher association is 'very strong', arranging many fundraising functions.'We believe our pupils are very well prepared for their secondary education when they leave us.' Our mission statement is "we aim for excellence by continually providing a high quality education for each young person in a caring and safe environment". This is a Church of England school in which the ethos is based on Christian values. We aim to provide a friendly, safe and stimulating environment and we want all our children to be confident, well motivated, self-disciplined and happy to be at our school.
