Background:

Warboys is a local education authority maintained community primary school taking children from four to 11 years of age. The main part of the school was opened in 1972 with additions in 1976, 1989 and 1994. The most recent building programme has brought the teaching space accommodation up to 14. The school is divided up into a number of wings each containing cloakroom facilities, group activity rooms and areas. Linked to the main school hall is a community wing, which consists of a hall and coffee bar. This area is used by the school and community groups during the day. The school has a small computer suite for group teaching purpose. There is also a small open-air swimming pool, a willow room on the school field and a millennium garden where children can sit and have a quiet time. The school offers a range of extra-curricular activities and clubs including football, chess, cross-country, jumping jacks, aerobics, French, tag rugby and games skills. In addition residential visits are also arranged. The school aims to develop the potential of every child within a caring and safe environment.
