Background:

St Neots Community College is a co-educational comprehensive school, educating pupils from the age of 11 to 18. The college has a well-equipped suite of rooms, a suite of 11 purpose-built laboratories, an ICT suite that is part of the whole school network, with access to specialist software and two media classrooms with specialist equipment. It has great sports facilities like the floodlit astro and the mini astro. There is also a swimming pool on site. The college has recently been awarded Sportsmark in recognition of the superb facilities and excellent physical education curriculum. Music is a popular and inspirational subject at the college and is based in a new suite of specialist rooms. There is a wide range of extra-curricular activities on offer at lunchtime, immediately after-school and during the evenings. Various recreational and vocational day and evening classes are available which include painting, pottery, yoga, languages and keep fit. There are almost 30 clubs and groups, including football, basketball, badminton, martial arts, model railway, model car club, dance groups, open door church and majorettes based at the college. The college aims to enable all students to achieve their potential in an atmosphere of care, respect, enterprise, creativity and challenge.
