Background:
Haslingfield Endowed Primary School is situated in centre of village within a conservation area. The school has extensive grounds including a large L shaped playground, part of which is an early years play area; a large playing field used for football and other sporting activities; a wooden play equipment area and a sensory garden. It has a conservation area at the end of the field used for a variety of environmental studies and a willow dome planted to celebrate the millennium. The school also has an open air swimming pool which both the children and their families can enjoy during the Summer Term and the summer holidays. The school has a large hall which is not only used during school but also for concerts and performances. It doubles up as a canteen during mid-day break where school lunches are served from the kitchens.It also provides extra-curricular activities such as netball, gymnastics, tennis and cricket.
