Background:

The Queen's School is truly comprehensive and welcomes pupils with the widest range of abilities. The school has a wide range of clubs and societies. There are also many visits arranged each year to places and events of interest, both in this country and abroad. Sport, drama and music are consistent themes of the visits. The school makes full use of their extensive facilities for sports and recreation. The school has so many facilities from study support to canteen to securing variables. The school has multimedia library resource area, which is in the centre of the school. The facility of homework club for the pupils helps them to complete homework or coursework in a quiet and pleasant environment. The curriculum of the school is broad and balanced. Optional subjects for GCSE are art, business and information technology, music, child development, physical education, a second modern language, humanities and further design and technology subjects. The school aims to offer every child as positive well structured and safe environment in which to learn, grow and excel.
