Background:

Sawtry is a community college. The college has excellent sport and leisure facilities. There are opportunities to take part in many sports and recreational activities, which take part in many sports, and recreational activities. A selection of these includes soccer, netball, hockey, rugby, gymnastics, athletics, dance, tennis, rounders, cricket, swimming, badminton and basketball. The extensive facilities available include a large sports hall, swimming pool, all-weather pitch and also sizeable fields. The school is always keen to link with sports clubs to extend opportunities for pupils to pursue their activities outside of school. The school has received the 'Leading Edge status' and 'Training school status'. The school is also proud of its achievement of 'Investors in People status'. The school offers everyone the opportunity, whatever their aptitude or ability, to realise their full potential within a caring and supportive learning environment.
